I found out that field trip venues are often on discount
over the summer break. And so Ozzy, my brother Gab, and I took advantage of
this. Our first stop was Manila Ocean Park which was...well, in Manila. We took
the loooong trip from Antipolo, Rizal and spent the discount on Gas! Hahaha.
True.
Instead of paying for P1,750 per head, we paid P700 per head
only. That was a treat J. Ozzy enjoyed the
whole trip. The fish were so active. My brother and I(Gab has been to Boston’s
ocean park; Ozzy and I have been to HK and Bermuda ocean park)were saying we
hadn’t seen more active fish in a fish tank. They were so much fun to watch
because they all looked healthy and happy. Plus the diversity of the sea life
was impressive. The tank was full of so many different fish and the sea life
inside the tank was so vibrant!
We took the Trails to Antarctica exhibit and although the
exhibit was quite high for a four year old boy to see the penguins, we found
the penguins very cute. The Snow Village was extremely cold though. We couldn’t
stay very long because it was summer, and we were all in shorts. The jackets
weren’t thick enough to keep us any warmer.
The Sea Lion Show was the highlight for Ozzy. He kept clapping for joy. He just had so much fun watching the Sea Lions perform.
The Jellies Exhibit was very theatrical. Classical music was
playing in a darkened room with mirrored walls. It made the Jelly fish room
look like it went forever.
Miss you guys. Still have Mind museum to go to! Any good museums there?
